2023 Winner: Weis Markets
The National Mango Board (NMB) has announced Weis Markets as its recipient of the 2023 Mango Retailer of the Year award. This prestigious award was presented Oct. 12 on site at the chain’s flagship location in Selinsgrove, PA, and celebrates Weis Markets’ exceptional dedication to providing consumers with the freshest and highest-quality mangos, as well as its outstanding contributions to the mango industry. 2022 Winner: Kroger
The National Mango Board (NMB) has announced The Kroger Co. as its recipient of the 2022 Mango Retailer of the Year award. The Kroger Co. has been selected from more than 100 retailers across the United States that work alongside the NMB in promoting the consumption of mango. 2021 Winner: Albertsons
The National Mango Board (NMB) announced Albertsons Companies as its recipient of the 2021 Mango Retailer of the Year award. 2019 Winner: Wegmans
The National Mango Board honored Wegmans as the 2019 Mango Retailer of the Year. The award winner was announced during the NMB’s Annual Mango Industry Reception during PMA’s Fresh Summit Convention & Expo in Anaheim, CA. The award was received by Mary Zink (pictured).
2018 Winner: ShopRite
The National Mango Board honored ShopRite as the 2018 Mango Retailer of the Year. The award was received by Perno W. Young III (left) and Derrick S. Jenkins (right) from Wakefern Food Corporation.
2017 Winner: Jewel-Osco
