The National Mango Board (NMB) is inviting retail leaders in the produce industry to nominate retail produce team members who have gone above and beyond the normal expectations as a Super Fun Super Fruit Hero. This initiative aims to recognize and applaud the heroic efforts of retail teams during this challenging time. {VIEW}

New leadership from the frozen mango industry joins the National Mango Board (NMB). The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue, has appointed three members from the frozen mango industry to serve the NMB. Two appointees will serve three-year terms beginning immediately and ending on December 31, 2022 and one appointee will serve a two-year term beginning immediately and ending on December 31, 2021. {VIEW}

The National Mango Board (NMB) is inviting mango industry leaders to participate in the 2020 board member nominations process. The NMB is seeking nominations for six board member positions to serve a three-year term beginning January 2021 and one additional position to begin in 2020 and serve until the end of 2021. The open positions include fresh mango importers in District II, foreign producers and domestic producers. {VIEW}

The National Mango Board (NMB) announced Albertsons Companies as its recipient of the 2021 Mango Retailer of the Year award. The NMB presented the award in Boise, Idaho to Vince Maggio, National Director of Produce and Floral. Also present from Albertsons Companies were Jerry Callahan, GVP Produce/Floral; Rich Mendonsa, Vice President Produce/Floral Replenishment and Planning; Kent Frazee, Produce Sales Manager Intermountain Division. {VIEW}

The National Mango Board (NMB) honored Wegmans as the 2019 Mango Retailer of the Year. The award winner was announced during the NMB’s Annual Mango Industry Reception on October 18, 2019 during PMA’s Fresh Summit Convention & Expo in Anaheim, CA. Present at the ceremony were award recipient Mary Zink, Produce Category Merchant at Wegmans, members of the Wegmans produce team, mango industry leaders and several NMB board members. {VIEW}

The National Mango Board (NMB) has announced The Kroger Co. as its recipient of the 2022 Mango Retailer of the Year award. The Kroger Co. has been selected from more than 100 retailers across the United States that work alongside the NMB in promoting the consumption of mango.
